On Wednesday, April 15th, the school became, for the first time, a donation point for the Blood and Tissue Bank.
The event, together with the traditional Solidarity Football Tournament, welcomed residents from Matadepera as well as from Terrassa, Sabadell, and Castellar. Part of the teaching staff and students over the age of 18 also joined the cause as donors. From 4:00 p.m. onwards, donors were welcomed and accompanied by 9th-grade students and the Biology teachers, who promoted the project.
The healthcare team, together with the Matadepera Fire Department, made the day a moment full of solidarity, with plenty of fun activities for the youngest attendees. The event was a great success: the blood collected will help 132 patients who may need it.
